Over 30 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and operations—with a focus on SAP S/4HANA-related process stabilization, 3PL management, transformation, and operational root cause analysis.
My Approach to the Case
- Understanding the Error Pattern – Where is the process breaking down: SAP posting, interface, warehouse process, batch, inventory, documentation, supplier, 3PL, or transportation?
- Track the Process Chain – From the supplier's facility through inbound delivery and goods receipt to inventory, warehouse movements, and outbound delivery.
- Validate SAP Inventory and Physical Inventory – Reconcile SAP inventory, physical inventory, movements, postings, delivery documents, and confirmation entries.
- Document Corrections – Track and record IBD/OBD corrections, batch postings, inventory checks, IT tickets, and reconciliations in a traceable manner.
- Synchronize Stakeholders – Bring together business units, SAP teams, supplier plants, quality management, IT support, transportation, the shop floor, and logistics service providers.
- Implement corrective actions – Don't just correct individual errors; identify the root causes, assign responsibility, and implement sustainable process improvements.
